BlackBerry Curve 9380 Orlando Specs and Feature

Design
BlackBerry Curve 9380 or popularly known as Orlando, it brings full touch screen design, without a qwerty keyboard. At first glance, Orlando more similar to the Torch family, rather similar to the BlackBerry Monza. Besides relying on the touch screen with 3.2 inches wide, and the resolution of 360x480 pixels, Orlando also features a trackpad navigation menu optic for surfing.

BlackBerry Orlando  body is made of black plastic material. On the trackpad panel touch panel flanked call and menu on the left, and the panel end call / power and back on the right. The panel together with the screen, supposing the soft touch screen.

Note
There is no information about the depth of the screen used this phone. Regrettably, there is a MicroSD slot behind the battery, meaning of the concept hotswap, replacing and installing the memory card needs to turn off the phone first.

Features
As one of the latest generation of BlackBerry, Orlando already carry the BlackBerry OS 7.0 platform. Completeness in BlackBerry OS 7.0 include BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) 6 2.0 and social feeds. Social feed serves to collect some "status" in some applications. Facebook for BlackBerry new also include integrated Facebook chat and BBM. Another advantage offered, has no application Documents to Go Premium version, so you can create new documents.

As a standard in-class BlackBerry OS 7.0, BlackBerry support imaging in Orlando carrying a resolution of 5 MP camera, support features in the camera include LED flash, geo tagging, close-up (macro), face detection, Imaga stabilization, zoom, and a selection of scene. The resolution can be reached that is 2592x1944 pixels. As for the ability to record video, unfortunately still the standard VGA, the record results were fairly ordinary.

Note
The internal memory is limited, with only 512 Mb of RAM, similar to the BlackBerry Curve 9360 Apollo.

Performance
In terms of premium features,  Everything else can go well without any problems. But for the processor, unfortunately Orlando is still limited to using 806 MHz, processor performance will be be perceived when used for multitasking mode, the speed of response on each application will show the quality of the processor.

BlackBerry Curve 9380 Orlando used battery type Lithium Ion (JM-1) with a capacity of 1230 mAh. RIM claimed standby time is up to 360 hours and talk time up to 5 hours.
