Exchange 2G BlackBerry to the latest 3G BlackBerry

XL mobile operators give customers the opportunity to elect to exchange their 2G BlackBerry phones to the latest 3G BlackBerry, Curve 9320, for free. "This is a form of our appreciation to our customers," said Joy Wahjudi, XL Marketing Director, in a statement in Jakarta, Thursday, May 31, 2012. Opportunities to exchange these phones applies to users who have subscribed to the service XL XL package BlackBerry more than a year with the category of Ultra High Value.

Joy said the program is valid in the Jakarta area and only 200 customers were selected to XL. Currently XL BlackBerry services used more than 2.5 million customers across Indonesia. BlackBerry Curve 9320 arrives in Indonesia in mid-May 2012. On the phone was available a special button for direct access to the BlackBerry Messenger (BBM).

The operating system that runs on the BlackBerry smartphone is 7.1 and is sold at 250 USD.  BlackBerry smart phone manufacturers (BB), Research In Motion (RIM), holding a number of financial institutions to strengthen its dominance in the smart phone market in Indonesia.

"We launched the 'BlackBerry Affordable', aimed at middle-class consumers who want to get a BB phone in retail stores with credit," said Marketing Director of PT Research In Motion Indonesia, Eka Anwar, on Wednesday night.
